Triazolam is a benzodiazepine derivative drug. It has almost the same pharmacological as other benzodiazepines, but it is only used as a sedative to treat insomnia for patients. Its hypnotic properties triazolam possesses, amnesic, anxiolytic, sedative, anticonvulsant and muscle relaxant properties are also present. Insomnia can let people difficulty falling asleep and keep active or awakening frequently, early awakenings or a combination of each. Triazolam is also a short acting benzodiazepine and it can let patients who are suffering from pain to fall asleep in short time. Short half-life hypnotics such as triazolam are not effective in patients that suffer from frequent awakenings or early wakening due to their very short half-life. A study in baboons showed that triazolam was the most preferred benzodiazepine in drug liking self injection tests. Serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer used triazolam (Halcion) to sedate his victims.

1) List three things you learnt about drugs during this project.
During this prokect I learnt that there are wide variety of drugs in the world. The drugs have both advantage and disadvantage. It depends on the way to use it. A tranqullizing drug can be used as harmful function in some way.
2) List three things you would like to learn about in the future concerning drugs.
I would like to learn about how the drugs effect to the entire human being. When and where the illegal drugs produced out and how to stop it.How can we reduce the side effect of drugs.
3) List three things you enjoy about using this learning environment (Wiki).
First we can have a quiet and multi-media education of drugs (the most hot issue in the world.) This study environment can make use have comment and assess each other. And we can edit on this website anytime.(time and place are unlimited.)
4) List three things you dislike about using this learning environment (Wiki).
The disadvantages are also exsit frequently. The website is so lag and not so maturity. The errors of changing the letterform/add images/text edit make the editing more difficult.
5) Do you prefer traditional written essays or creating a Wiki page for assessment?
I like the wiki one. It has advanced multi-media method and the study environment is not stressful as the typical writen essay.
6) How do you feel about contributing to other people’s pages ?
I think that's a nice creative idea which can let students have comments(helps) and can improve the quality of each other's work.
7) How do you feel about other people contributing to your page?
My friends gave me some nice suggestions which I was really appreciate and satisfied.
